  • White glove service provided to senior executives and their guests within the client organisation.
  • Assist client service desk team with planning and testing for high-profile events.

AV Technician

The average work day for the AV technician would start with pro-active testing using portal and physical check. This consists of testing all of the relevant AV spaces to make sure they are fully functional and ready to be used for the day. The checks would consist of sound and video test along with sharing content. If any issues were to be found then the relevant troubleshooting would be carried out in order to find a fix. If no fix is found, provide workaround if possible,  and then the issue can be escalated to the wider Bridgehampton AV team for a solution.

Throughout the day the technician would also be dealing with any meeting room support requests that have been pre-booked, making sure that the customer is happy with the meeting room equipment and is confident that their meeting will go smoothly. These requests can also be ad-hoc so the technical team will be on hand to deal with any last minute issues. If all spaces are working correctly and there are no meeting room support requests then the technician has the opportunity to do any ‘house-keeping’ that is needed on site.

These are smaller jobs that’s while not as pressing as meeting room support, still need to be done. This could be things such as tidying up site documentation, making sure firmware is up-to-date on all critical devices and any other general maintenance that would need to be carried out on the different systems within the office.

Overall, the role of the technician is to make sure that the client doesn’t have to worry about anything when it comes to AV, anything that is considered AV equipment will come under the responsibility of the technician. They are the point of contact when it comes to Audio Visual and Collaboration systems and will be pro-active helping the client.. This in turn alleviates stress from the internal clients support staff and makes day-to-day running and management of the office a lot easier.
